Ronda Harston, RD, LD, CDE
Ronda is a Certified Diabetes Educator, affiliated with Rocky Mountain Diabetes and Osteoporosis Center since 2004. She is a graduate of Ricks College and Brigham Young University, with a bachelor's degree in Nutrition. She completed a dietetic internship in Portland, Oregon at the University of Oregon Hospitals and Clinics and is a Registered Dietitian. She also holds a certification in Child and Adolescent Weight Management.
Ronda was raised in Rigby and has worked and lived in many parts of the United States including Oregon, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, North Carolina and New York. She returned to southeastern Idaho in 2003 and has enjoyed the opportunity to be close to her family here and renew old acquaintances and make many new ones.
Ronda has 7 children and 9 grandchildren. She enjoys activity in her church and community, spending time with her family, following BYU football, and has recently taken up gardening. She loves working with her patients at RMDC and taking opportunities to provide education to groups throughout the community about diabetes treatment and prevention.
