Since February of 2004, Von Crofts has been the CEO of Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center and as such has been leading the administrative and clinical teams as the practice developed and adapted to meet the region’s ever-changing needs of the challenging practice of endocrinology and diabetes care.
The administration of the clinical, research, education, and laboratory functions of Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center requires a substantial staff of talented professionals. Together with the entire care team, Von works behind the scenes to ensure patients not only receive optimal clinical care but also an exceptional experience at Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center.
An essential part of this optimal patient experience includes involvement with Express Lab, the medical laboratory, which is an independent full-service lab that is CLIA and COLA accredited. The clinical laboratory provides fast and accurate testing for not only our patients, but also the patients of other healthcare providers in the area.
Von takes great pride in our extensive clinical-research program, now Rocky Mountain Clinical Research, which enables the practice to use leading-edge treatments and technologies that are safe and that improve the quality of life of our patients. Rocky Mountain Pharmacy is the latest addition to the family of business dedicated to patient care. The pharmacy was formed in a unified effort to provide a full-service pharmacy that is more convenient for the patients of Rocky Mountain Diabetes.
Von’s vision for Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center is to provide healing and comfort to patients with simple to the most challenging health issues. To accomplish this, he ensures that the practice hires and trains the best people, and provides them with the resources they need to provide excellent care for our patients.
Von and his wife, Jennifer, are the proud parents of 7 children and a growing number of grandchildren. They love spending time with their family enjoying the outdoors hiking, camping, skiing, playing tennis, and more.
Von is dedicated to his physical training that includes weight training and endurance activities, which include running, biking and a variety of other outdoor activities. Von also contributes a substantial amount of his time to service in his church and community.
