Diabetes self-management education is a key element in the successful management of diabetes. Patients who receive education have fewer complications, fewer hospital/ER visits, and spend less money overall. Diabetes patients of Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center are required by our physicians to regularly participate in diabetes education.
