For emergencies, always call 911 (or your local emergency response system if different).
Web PortalOn our website, you can find information about the practice and access the patient portal.
The patient portal is simply a secure website provided by our medical records software company that we can use to interact with patients.
Through this website, patients can obtain information about appointments, statements, lab results, and can receive reminders about appointments.
The portal is available as a free service to all patients and will be enhanced over time to provide more and more options. To use the portal, you must obtain a username and password, and you must have an email address that you check consistently. To gain access to the patient portal, simply notify our front desk staff the next time you are in the office.
To make an appointment with any of our providers, or for laboratory testing at Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center, please call 208-523-1122 during regular office hours. If you have an urgent need, you will need to speak with a nurse, who will assess the urgency of your need and recommend when to make an appointment. You may also request an appointment through the portal.
Urgent CareBecause endocrine issues can be very complicated and can affect other areas of your health, we encourage you to come into Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center for urgent care issues that may be related to and aggravated by an endocrine issue.
We typically have same-day appointments available with a nurse practitioner for urgent-care issues.
For urgent needs outside of our regular office hours, you may call our answering service at 208-932-0579.
All laboratory results are available on our patient portal. If you want a physical copy, you can come to our office where we can print one for you. The lab results include test results in addition to helpful information regarding the results.
We are alerted when lab results are not normal, and the physicians determine the needed follow-up action. Typically, when this occurs, our office will call you and inform you of what needs to be done (such as change to a medication and/or dosage), or the physician will indicate on the lab letter that you need to call us.
