The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) coordinates and administers clinical trials under the direction of the Research Manager and the Principal Investigator following good clinical practice guidelines. The CRC works with study subjects and formulates, implements, and organizes research and managerial processes to ensure the successful operation of clinical trials. The CRC carries out various administrative tasks that involve analytical skills, good decision-making ability, and a sound knowledge of study-related practices. The position requires a medical background as well as strong clerical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. CMA, LPN or similar credential is preferred. Experience in a healthcare or research environment is helpful.
The Care Coordinator is responsible for initiating and coordinating care plans as directed by providers, providing patient/family education, teaching appropriate utilization of health resources, assisting patient/family in effectively navigating through the health care system, and ensuring that provider recommendations are followed. In addition, the Care Coordinator is responsible for the Chronic Care Management program, and Annual Wellness exams. This position requires an RN.
