Clinical Background
As a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner, Jedd Walker prides himself in providing the best quality care for his patients. To prepare himself to provide such care, he attended Roseman University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in nursing, and then United States University, where he earned his Master of Science to become a family nurse practitioner.
Beyond maintaining his professional certifications and licenses, he strives to expand his experience and expertise in a variety of medical settings in order to improve patient care and outcomes wherever patients are found. He worked as a mobile wound care specialist, caring for patients in the comfort of their own homes and at a nursing facility. He worked as a circulating nurse in a busy operating room in Las Vegas and assisted an oral surgeon in a dental office. He worked in home health both as a staff nurse and as a case manager. He honed his leadership and training skills as a staff development coordinator, infection control nurse, and the director of nursing.
Now in a new chapter of his career, he is excited to join Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center, where he will provide exceptional and compassionate care for all his patients by drawing on his rich and varied nursing experiences.
