Ingredients
- 1 pound low sodium ham steaks, fully cooked
- 1/2 cup light maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Place ham steaks in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ham.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Collect remaining syrup mixture and serve with ham.
Note: bamboo skewers need to be soaked in water before using so they don’t char or catch on fire.
